Las Tardes en Ibiza Chill Music is back for the many collectors who are fond of this beautiful musical series. And it was worth waiting two years, the fans will be thrilled with the jazzy tunes of Volume 12 compiled and mixed as always by Victor Nebot. The first track “Dry Eyes” genuinely reflects the musical style of Bert Kaempfert meets De-Phazz’s qualitative melodic music: jazzy, expressive and overflowing with joie de vivre, that makes you feel good. On that playful note comes Jean Honeymoon’s languorous lyrics “The Way You Looked At Me” as a perfectly harmonious choice that fits undeniably with the atmosphere that Victor Nebot has always been able to create in Las Tardes en Ibiza Chill Series.
Enter now a lovely rhythm of blues and pop with “All Around The World” featuring Wendy Lewis by Vintage Lounge Orchestra, written by Lisa Stansfield, Ian Devaney and Andy Morris. Rita Lee takes over with a moody jazz version of the famous “She Loves You” composed by John Lennon and Paul McCartney, followed by “Crawl”, a pearly funk and pop harmony by Gabriel Garzón-Montano whose vocal passages lead to picturesque paths. Kraak & Smaak’s “Stumble” is a beautiful musical piece enhanced by the voice of Parcels and the prestigious authors and composers Oscar De Jong, Mark Kneppers, Wim Plug, Patrick Hetherington, Jules Crammelin, Louie Spain, Noah Hill, Anatole Serret accompanied at the drums by Joris Feiertag. Jumping on the light notes of the piano, Lazy Hammock takes you away on a soulful chillout journey with “Surround Me”.
This first part gives way to Bonnie & Klein Balearic downtempo, Aquavivas before Mystic Diversions sneaks in smoothly with the romantic and emotional intimacy of “Josephine” featuring Francesko as Mike Francis at the vocals. Ambala by Sol Serra featuring danish guitar player Jacob Gurevitsch is the fresh air of the north playing the rhythms of southern guitars. Chill & Groove is next with the dubstep “Drops” featuring Angel Karatsami opening the way to Mika Olson’s “What I Need” featuring Jermaine Fleur and Be Svendsen “October Letters ( Page Two ) ” featuring Kamilla Kovacs. For the final, the personal and original musical style of dOP & Rothko Ensemble Remix “Habanera” by Shield & Robytek featuring Katia Ricciarelli is the icing on the cake.
